2015 is winding down to a close—it’s an ideal time to take a look at the road behind us and evaluate where we’ve been. At the beginning of the year we made a few car predictions for 2015. For one, as predicted, iPhone/Android integration has certainly been a big hit this year, as well as electric and hybrid cars. Small trucks didn’t make the top 10 list here, but trucks have certainly been popular this year!

This week, we’ll be looking at the most successful cars and vehicles in terms of sales. Here’s a list of the top selling cars of 2015, based on information provided by Kelley Blue Book:

10) 2015 Ford Fusion
22/34 MPG (City/Highway), 175 Horsepower

This midsize sedan offers all-wheel drive, and hybrid plug-in technology options. The Fusion is also a feature car on the show American Idol. Estimated tank range is 550 miles with a full tank of gas and fully charged.

9) 2015 Honda Accord
27/36 MPG, 185 HP

The 2015 Accord offers both V-4 and V-6 model options, and all models come with Eco-Assist technology. It also has a wide range of interior features, such as touch-screen audio.

8) 2015 Honda Civic
30/39 MPG, 143 HP

The Civic is another Honda known for its reliability and high resale value. 2015 models feature various driver assist technologies. Since the early ‘70s, Civics have also been a favorite car for modding and custom upgrades.

7) Honda CR-V

27/34 MPG, 185 HP

Honda’s CR-V is the only SUV to make this top 10 list. In the past, people have associated SUV’s with gas-guzzling and huge sizes. However, the CR-V represents newer trends towards smaller SUV’s with better gas mileage.

6) 2015 Nissan Altima
27/38 MPG, 182 HP

The Nissan Altima is known for having a stylish interior and a classy look compared to other mid-sized sedans in the same price range. For instance, the SR Model comes equipped with 18” rims and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

5) 2015 Toyota Corolla
28/37 MPG, 132 HP

The Corolla is the all-time best seller in the world, so it’s not surprising that it would end up on this year’s top 10 list. It has a roomy interior and word is that they’ll be releasing a Special Edition model for 2016.

4) 2015 Toyota Camry
25/35 MPG, 178 HP

For a long time, Toyota Camrys have been known as great family cars. This is still true, as their roominess makes for comfortable long drives. Newer models have a more aggressive exterior. Exciting!

3) 2015 Ram Truck
17/25 MPG, 395 HP

Ram trucks are tough performers that make excellent work vehicles. They’re rugged on the outside and comfy on the inside. The 1500 series has a towing capacity of around 10,800 lbs.

2) 2015 Chevy Silverado

This full-size truck is another popular option for today’s drivers. Silverado aficionados can choose from standard and long box choices, as well as tailored packages. Rear-vision cameras are available on some models.
