The Scream Zone at Del Mar

Runs through Oct. 31
Del Mar Fairgrounds

The Scream Zone over at the Del Mar Fairgrounds is San Diego County’s largest haunted experience. The attraction consists of four terrifying haunts: the House of Horror, Haunted Hayride, KarnEvil (freak show), and the ever-popular Zombie Boot Camp. No matter which haunt you choose, you’re in for a hair-raising scream fest! Other highlights this year also include The Walking Dead Prison and other bloodcurdling features.

Note: The Scream Zone is considered one of the scariest and goriest fright fests in all of Southern California — be sure your nerves are up for it before entering!

Balboa Park Haunted Trail

Balboa Park

You might be familiar with Balboa Park, but you’ve never seen it like this! Balboa Park’s Haunted Trail is a mile long path through the park where horror icons like Freddy, Jason, The Ring Girl, and other characters await to spook you. You’ve got to be on your guard as you never know which direction the fright will come from! Not for children under 10 or the faint of heart. Over 3500 ft. of sheer terror!

The Harvest Motel Escape Room

Runs through Oct. 31

Guests will have to use their wit, creativity, and bravery as well as provided clues and hints to solve puzzles and reunite with the rest of the team members.
