I needed a smog check super fast and affordable and Convoy Auto made it happen. I called in and was able to make a same day appointment.David was so incredibly friendly and inviting. I normally feel really uncomfortable and nervous at body shops because they just seem so sketchy! But thats definitely NOT the case here.My smog check was done under an hour so I just walked around the target nearby until it was done. There was a sign on the wall that said "does your car shake when you press down on the brakes?" And I laughed at it and was saying mine did. David simply and jokingly said "well you know, we can fix that. And it wont do that anymore". Although it may not seem like a big deal, it was a big deal to me that he didnt push me to get my rotors fixed right away or make it seem like it was super urgent. Most repair shops would make it seem like it was life or death to get something fixed!All in all, I had a wonderful experience here and will definitely be coming back when I have the funds to get my shaking car fixed!

Great service, kept me informed of what was going on with my vehicle.

I chose to use this repair shop for two reasons. First, it was close to home and second, my cousin who is a master mechanic for the U.S. Post Office recommended it. I had a vehicle which had an on and off again problem (hardest to diagnose and fix). They worked with the complexity of the situation and kept me informed at every step. Well Done!!! We drove it home and the car is reliable again!I will return for all future service and would recommend Convoy Auto Repair to any one who asks!

Completely satisfied with accurately pointing out the problem and fixing it in the time they promised which neither Pepboys and Mossy Nissan could, do to their fraudulent nature. It was just a simple issue, bad balance. Pepboys lied me into spend $1,400. They lied me into believe there was an issue after another and repair after repair but couldn't or didn't fix the problem. Issue was the vibration on the steering wheel and the front of my car on the freeway. They(Pepboys) didn't get rid of it so that they could continue dissecting my car for more money. Since my car is a Nissan I wanted Mossy Nissan to come up with an accurate result. They were just as worse. I paid $50 diagnostic fee so that I get rid of the issue once and for all. Instead, they came up with an estimate of $2,400. I said He'll with it. I'd been driving my car with on going vibration for about a year and getting more problematic so I decide to try Convoy Auto Repair. I went with a technician named Brad Barrick for a drive and he told me it was a bad balance. I didn't believe him at first because balance was done twice in the past so I expected to be something more serious coming from the bad experience in the past. Took him less than an half hour to balance all four wheels. I was somewhat skeptical until I got on the freeway. Sure enough, vibration was GONE. I was in disbelief. I was so happy but bitter and angry about the past of deceit and fraud. I commend Brad for honesty and ethicality . I will recommend everyone I know to this shop and I will be seeing them for future consultation. James

I've been taking our vehicles to Convoy Auto Repair for a few years now and have been impressed by the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. I know little about vehicles, but with that qualification I've never had reason to complain about their work.

The office staff I spoke to: David Ely and Pam, were very knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. I was given a quote over the phone for engine work needed on an older car. Pam called me to let me know she will hold the quote for me. I had the car towed in. After a leak down test, I was informed the block is good. The heads were sent out and the car was ready on the day that she said it should be!It runs very well for an old mutt. Very happy these guys took good care of it.

Great Service. Friendly People. Way less expensive than the dealership rates for a transmission fluid change.... and Dog Friendly!!
