I had a hard situation. My engine had a knock going on and I needed some brake work. They explained my engine options which were full replacement or short block replacement. Both were hard to hear but did a good job of telling me why. In the end they couldn't help me because they couldn't find me an engine, but at least they were honest about it.

Brought my 2008 Nissan Sentra after I learned that it needed a new engine at only 62,000 miles. Even after performing all the scheduled oil changes, the engine sadly could go no further. A failed piston ring was to blame, and my appeals to Nissan North America were useless. Even the lemon law couldn't help me! Even after performing all the scheduled maintenance, the engine was a goner.I called around and explained my situation to several shops, and they all gave me estimates that were right around the same. I chose Convoy Auto Repair because David was professional and explained every detail I asked about......as a complete layperson, I really appreciated his clear explanations of the repair and costs.Finally, my car was fixed and back on the road in just a few days!
